Granpa's Hibiscus

Heidi's grandfather was faithful and kind. He was overwhelmed and grateful when we would go see him. I remember how he would fix us dinner then try to fight us out of the kitchen if we tried to do our own dishes. He knew the art of hospitality and expected nothing in return.

Heidi's grandmother was always doing little things for Heidi. She was the life of every visit and brought flare to family events.

Heidi's grandfather and grandmother loved to vacation in Hawaii. So we have chosen to plant a Hibiscus in front of our house in honor of Herbert and Ruth Horton.
