The kids are rebounding from the stomach bug just in time for the arrival of company.

Heidi's grandfather is staying with us. We have decided to keep him with us for the time he has remaining. The doctors have estimated that he has two weeks left. Heidi's mother and uncle are here and her brother is coming tomorrow.

This is a Heidi's uncle Scott who is a musician in Austin. He plays the lute and every other stringed instrument.

Esther has really taken to "PaPa" as she calls him. She loves to tug on his robe, throw his newspaper on the floor, and tries to get his glass of water when he's not looking all day long.

This is Heidi's mom. The kids call her "Mimi".

I came to check your blog to see what wonderful words of wisdom you've "penned" about blessings and thankfullness. I thought to check on you guys because I was rehashing the blessings in my life, and you guys are right up there on my list. Once again, I see you being faith and love in action. You guys are amazing. I thank God every time I think of you...
