The Fever Has Broken

Motorcycle fever has broken with this remedy, a 2004 Harley-Davidson 883XL Sportster. I think the kids are almost as excited as their dad.

For those who know me, I really wasn't that into motorcycles but there was a man who was being deployed to Iraq and buying this would really help him out. It's like charity.

In all seriousness, please pray for Raul Perez and his family. He was very kind and helpful through the purchase process and has a family that will miss him. If you would post your prayers and well wishes for his family in the comments, I will send a link for his family to read.

Thanks,
Brandon

Abilene Birthday Party

Celebrating a birthday at the Abilene Zoo is the only way to go. Seriously, there is nothing else to do or see here. The cousins had a great time together. My grandmother came and got to see a few of her dozen or so great grandchildren, and we got home before the temps hit 100.

Superhero Training: Two Thumbs Up

Mason began his super hero class at a local gym. He got to wear his Super Mason cape that Aunt Natalie made him for his birthday and he was so, so, so excited. When asked what his super hero power was he answered, "ice lightning webs". The boys each had to take a pledge proclaiming all the good things they will do as super heroes. Then, they worked on flying, teamwork, jumping, swinging, lifting and all things super hero. ~Heidi
