At church we just finished a series called Unwrapping Christmas. If you watch the sermons you may not find anything unusually deep or profound, but you will find something simple and tangible. Last week we threw a Jesus Party in a local elementary school with the community. Yesterday there was an overwhelming response to what we called the Hope for Honduras project where individuals purchased thousands of dollars worth of livestock for poor families in Honduras. I am proud to be part of a church that gathers each week to celebrate a common faith that is changing the world. I'm excited to participate with a church that puts faith into action. I'm glad my children are part of a church that is anything but boring.
