California Vacation 2

The siblings and spouses went out for sushi the other night. It was nice to have the free babysitting and adult conversation. Saturday we took a trip to the Santa Barbara Zoo and then had dinner at a little joint by the beach. There was a little sand area for the kids to play. Esther found a few friends to help her dig. Today we are going to the beach here in Malibu.

I know what you are thinking, but this is not an easy vacation. The sun comes shining through my bedroom window overlooking the ocean at 6:30 every morning forcing me to roll over till I'm ready to get up. I'll endure.
